MEET OUR MASCOT: PRUFU
The Story of Prufu - The Silent Stitcher
In the icy corners of a forgotten land, there lived a little penguin named Prufu - not the loudest, not the strongest, but certainly the most patched-up. He had a tiny bandage on his forehead, a stitch across his heart, and a permanent scarf wrapped snugly around his neck - not just for warmth, but to cover the places life had torn.
Prufu wasn't born broken. He was once just like every other cheerful chick on the ice. But as seasons changed and people came and went, he became the one everyone leaned on - to cry, to laugh, to heal. Whether it was a friend's cracked shell or someone's bruised pride, Prufu always offered a thread - not just of fabric, but of understanding.
The problem? He never stitched himself.
You see, Prufu had a special gift: he could absorb the pain of others. Every time someone wept, a tear would land on his wing, and quietly, without anyone noticing, he would carry it away - storing it somewhere deep inside. And then, he'd smile. A soft, quiet smile. Because healing someone made him feel a little more whole too.

But even the strongest thread wears thin.
One winter, a child named Zaya visited the icy region, wrapped in sorrow. Her world had just fallen apart - a lost pet, shifting cities, an unknown language. She stumbled upon Prufu at a little patchwork stall of scarves, where he was busy sewing a fabric with a tear-shaped design. Without speaking, she picked it up, wore it, and instantly felt... lighter. Not healed, but held.
Curious, Zaya returned every day. And each time, she saw Prufu give someone something stitched - a muffler, a patch, a glove - but it was never just cloth. It was courage, stitched silently.
Zaya noticed something more too. Prufu looked... tired. There were more stitches on him than ever before. More weight in his eyes, though his smile never faded.
So one day, she brought him a gift - a piece of cloth, messy and uneven, stitched by her tiny hands.
On it, she had embroidered in crooked thread:
"Even threads need rest."
That was the first time anyone had ever patched him.
And that's the story behind Prufu, your silent guardian of Dil Se Dard Tak. He isn't just a mascot - he's the reminder that clothes can carry care, and that stitched things aren't broken - they're survivors. Just like Prufu. Just like us
